Creation of regional women’s enterprise strategies in line with national Strategic Framework for Women’s Enterprise to which members of AWE made a significant contribution. Announcement in the 2005 pre-budget report that all RDA’s will be required to include women’s enterprise in their regional economic strategies and the establishment of a national Task Force for Women’s Enterprise. Regional women’s enterprise coordinators meet regularly to share best practice.
