Product: Enigma Q-plus : training for business advisors

Description

Enigma Q-plus is an in-service qualification for start-up advisors. It is addressed to both already active advisors as well as to people interested in specialising on start-up support. The training contributes to the improvement and professionalisation of accompanying business starters out of unemployment. The additional qualification is realised by the Hamburg-based start-up centre Enigma in cooperation with the University of Lüneburg. It concentrates on people who are already working in the context of business start-up information and advise (start-up advisors, job officers, personal development, human resources development, tax consultants, outplacement advisors, consultants, coaches, trainers etc) or those with an adequate background (business management, entrepreneurship, coaching etc) who are interested in working in the field of entrepreneurship.

Justification/aim

Enigma Q-plus aims at providing start-up advisors with more security in their advise and support services as well as at deepening the understanding for the specific framework conditions and requirements of small business start-ups.

The Enigma Q-plus curriculum is based on the two main pillars start-up knowledge and coaching competence. In addition, parallel case study supervision takes place. Peer reviews are offered on a voluntary basis. Once the process is completed all participats get a certificate.

For the pillar start-up expert knowledge those topics have been chosen, that mark the central aspects of small business start-ups and have to be clarified, worked out and specified with the client. The topics are presented in a format that its general importance is realised theoretically and precise. On the other hand, they focus on the specific advise for business starters. [..] The central goal of the advise process is to enhance the management competences of the people starting the business, not the lecturing of complex, comprehensive knowledge.
