what we need on this main page is 1. a new skin with a more wikipedia appearance 3. I managed to put up a couple of gadgets on the left including shout box (online chat with other users that are online) and recently edited by. I don't think these appear on everyone's pages It would be useful to have a category tree we could have some feeds to the ning showing new content that had just been added, maybe a list of headers
